ReceptionMonk Enters Public Beta as REAK Announces Long-Term Strategic Commitment

Today marks an important milestone for everyone at REAK. After several years of product development, testing and refinement, ReceptionMonk is officially entering Public Beta.

Alongside this milestone, REAK is announcing a long-term strategic commitment of up to ₹1 crore towards the continued development of ReceptionMonk. Approximately ₹20 lakh has already been invested into engineering and product development, with continued investment planned across infrastructure, artificial intelligence, hiring and customer growth as the platform evolves.

This is not an external funding round. Instead, it reflects REAK's long-term commitment to a product we have quietly built over the last few years and now believe is ready to enter its next phase.

Every business depends on customer communication, yet many growing companies still rely on a single employee's mobile number to handle calls and customer enquiries. When that employee is unavailable, customers are often left waiting, opportunities are missed and valuable conversations disappear without visibility.

ReceptionMonk was created to solve this problem by giving businesses a shared business communication platform where phone calls, customer conversations and WhatsApp messaging belong to the organisation rather than an individual employee.

Businesses receive one company number that can be used across their entire team. Calls can be intelligently routed, redirected or transferred between employees while WhatsApp conversations remain part of the same communication workflow.

We deliberately chose to spend our time building rather than talking. Business communication software becomes part of a company's daily operations, and reliability is something that must be earned through careful engineering rather than marketing.

The decision to announce ReceptionMonk today comes only after reaching a stage where real businesses can begin using the platform and help shape its future through practical feedback.

ReceptionMonk is currently onboarding businesses through a controlled Public Beta programme. Around 38 organisations are already on the onboarding waitlist as we continue validating the platform across different industries and operating environments.

Public Beta represents the beginning of a new chapter, not the end of development. The objective is to learn alongside early customers, continuously improve the platform and expand responsibly before a wider commercial launch.

Indian businesses communicate differently. WhatsApp has become an essential customer channel, teams are often lean, and employees regularly handle sales, support and operations simultaneously.

Rather than adapting software designed for different markets, ReceptionMonk is being built around the realities of how businesses in India already operate. Our goal is simple: create communication software that feels natural for Indian businesses while maintaining the reliability and usability expected from modern cloud platforms.

Artificial intelligence is an important part of that vision, not because it is fashionable, but because it has the potential to help businesses respond faster, automate repetitive communication tasks and ensure customer enquiries reach the right people at the right time.

ReceptionMonk remains a product developed under REAK today. As the platform matures, grows its customer base and reaches the appropriate commercial and operational scale, our long-term intention is to establish it as an independent company.

Until then, REAK will continue investing in the platform's engineering, infrastructure and long-term product development while working closely with early customers during the Public Beta programme.

Over the coming months, our focus will remain on learning from early adopters, refining the platform and expanding ReceptionMonk responsibly. Every conversation with our beta customers will help shape the next stage of development.
